Restored Hearing is now Lios.

We’re at an exciting point in our journey as we continue to expand. After more than a decade in business, we have made the decision to rename and rebrand the company to reflect both our past and our future. When we started out in 2009 we had one aim – to help people with tinnitus and hearing damage. As time went on, our mission has stayed the same, but our capability to tackle the problem has grown. We are focused on empowering the building of tomorrow’s quieter world – by eradicating noise pollution and avoidable hearing damage. 

Since launching SoundRelief tinnitus sound therapy we have reached people in over 60 countries and grown a community of over 18,000 who share their experience of tinnitus and support each other through what can be a difficult condition. Our community of users provided the spark we needed to create SoundBounce, our technology that would further reduce noise at work and eradicate avoidable hearing damage using advanced acoustic materials. 

Our team, based in Ireland, has grown into a dynamic, international group of passionate professionals working across our multiple products and markets. Our customer base is also more diverse and industrial than when we started out. 

With all this in mind, and as we look towards the future, the time has come for a fresh approach to our brand . Today we work with companies across the globe in many different industries. We are building momentum in our efforts to eliminate noise pollution and our brand needs to enable us to continue to grow.

Lios is a safe haven from harmful noise. An Irish word, Lios means an enclosed space, or the space within. The name Lios (pronounced lie-us) captures our core vision of a quieter world. 

We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all those who have supported us since founding the business in 2009. Our customers, suppliers, investors, staff, mentors, friends, and family have helped us on this journey. We are so grateful for the backing we have received from so many people. 

We are incredibly excited about this new chapter in business as Lios. We are committed to the creation of elegant and practical solutions to some of the world’s greatest challenges.
